Google data shows what the audit cannot: real searches, clicks and which pages Google has indexed. Rutba only reads it and never changes anything in your Google account.
1. Connect your Google account
- Go to Settings → Google (owners and admins).
- Press Connect Google and sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console and Analytics.
- Allow both permissions. If you untick one, Rutba shows which part is missing. Press Connect again and tick every box.
Each workspace connects one Google account. Disconnect removes the access. The data already read stays until you remove the site.
2. Choose the properties of each site
- Open the site and go to Google Search.
- Under Choose the Google properties, pick the Search Console property and the Analytics 4 property.
- Press Save and read the data.
The first read covers the last 90 days. Data is then refreshed every day. Google's figures are about two days behind.
What you will see
- Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Average position, comparing the last 28 days with the 28 days before.
- Sessions, Users and Key events from Analytics.
- Almost on page one: queries in positions 8 to 20, often the quickest wins.
- Top queries.
Index watch and traffic alerts
- Indexing in Google checks your pages with Google's inspection tool, a set number per day, and again every week. Pages show as Indexed, Not indexed (with Google's reason), Dropped out of the index or Waiting to be checked. You are notified when pages drop out of the index.
- A traffic alert is sent when a day falls far below the same weekday of the last four weeks, or when Analytics stops counting visits.
Choose how you receive these in Settings → Notifications.
