Your Rutba account can change your websites, so protect it well.
Turn on two-factor authentication
- Go to Settings → Two-factor authentication. You will be asked for your password.
- Press Enable two-factor authentication and scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password and similar).
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app and press Confirm and enable.
- Save the 8 Recovery codes somewhere safe. Each one signs you in once if you lose your phone.
From then on, every sign-in asks for a code from the app, also when you sign in with Google.
Sign in with Google
Continue with Google on the sign-in page uses your Google account instead of a password. If an account with the same email already exists, it is linked to Google. If you want a password as well, use Forgot password? to set one.
Notifications
Settings → Notifications lists every event, with switches for In the app and Email. Items with a lock, such as security and billing messages, are always sent.
On Business and Agency plans, Settings → Alert channels can also send monitoring alerts to Telegram, Slack or a webhook. Use Send test alert to check it.
API keys
On Business and Agency plans, Settings → API keys creates keys for the Rutba API. Choose only the permissions the key needs and an expiry date. The key is shown once, so copy it right away. Delete keys you no longer use.
Delete your account
Settings → Profile → Delete account asks for your password and permanently deletes your account and every workspace you own, with its sites, content and subscription. Cancel any active subscription in Billing first.
